I love Julie's style and her blog is amazing. She knows how to create outfits that are casual, comfortable, feminine and low-key. This maxi dress is THE maxi dress of maxi dresses, you guys. It's got the shape of a typical couture gown but it's played down with the floral print and her vintage ankle boots. It's made sexy by adding a slit and loose sleeve holes. I absolutely love it.

I've been obsessed ever since I first joined. You know what I like about it? It combines many functions all in one website. I have a long reading list for blogs. I can follow most of my reading list since they have joined too. I can also search for photos that yield better results than Google...and are much prettier. It's also like Tumblr, except I can categorize them and see all the categories together (I'm such an organization freak). I like to think of it as the grown-up Tumblr. 

Best of all? Although I like blogs, it's still a long list and a tedious task for me to comb through each new blog post. I admit I just look at the pictures anyways. The users I follow put up the same pictures they put in their blog posts, in addition to their own photos they find. That's all what makes Pinterest so great. I love Pinterest. If you haven't joined, I hope you do so now.

I am obsessed with...home libraries!

A good library emanates curiosity, wonderment, timelessness, and vast knowledge to me. I've grown up reading books and loving it. I can never get bored in a library, and I know I'm not the only person either. The titles! The genres! The aisles! The fun surprises that you'll find from picking up different titles...it's overwhelming but in a fun grab-your-cart-and-stuff-as-many-as-you-can kind of way. I hope to one day build my own library. I know it'll be slightly glamorous, modern, and modestly sized. And filled with lots of fun trinkets and bookends, of course! 

Above are some great examples of some home libraries that I've scouted across the web. Get a load of the bookshelves in picture (4)! Pretty, right?! Just looking at these photos gives me lots of ideas to help me mentally and visually construct my perfect, slightly glamorous but functional home library that WILL ONE DAY HAPPEN.

House of Harlow 1960 has some great pieces in their jewelry collection, and the above are my favourites. They're vintage-esque, a little tribal, unique, and beautifully exotic. Gotta love Nicole Richie. She's a great jewelry designer!

I am obsessed with...this Elie Saab dress!

Modeled by Magdalena Frackowiak, this dress is a magical creation designed by fashion genius Elie Saab for his A/W 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week 2012. This guy has to be one of my top favourite designers because he captures sexy, luxuriant, feminine glamour so perfectly in all of his designs. It matches my personal aesthetic just so. This slim and fitted dress is modest yet features a low cut v-neck and a high slit in the middle of the skirt which shows enough skin. I also really love that all the models sported long, straight hair with blunt cut bangs; a sexy haircut to match a sexy dress. Elie Saab (and Jenny Packham) will leave behind an unforgettable legacy like Chanel or McQueen in the world of fashion.

I am obsessed with...Stripes!

I like stripes. Who doesn't like stripes? They're a classic, tasteful, and timeless element in any design - whether that be a room, on a sweater, artwork, jewelry or on your bathing suit. I know I'm not the first person to blog about stripes but I like it when it's done tastefully and glamorously (of course). A thick black and white stripe will always be my favourite. 


Oh, and that Vionnet cuff (3)? I. Covet. So. Bad. It's screaming my name.

I am obsessed with...Lucite!

Lucite is such a beautiful material. It's glamorous, stylish, and makes a statement. I've fallen in love with lucite, especially when I've seen it on shoes, like the ones shown above. I know the Jimmy Choo heels (4) are inspired by strippers and named after one, but it's still glam, you have to admit that! And the Mugnai heels are to DIE FOR! If I owned them, I would wear them everywhere. And probably never take them off. It's so gorgeous and feminine.

I am obsessed with...rose gold!

I love this colour in jewelry! I find that if you can't decide between white gold or yellow gold, go with rose gold! It's not too bold, it's just right. It's also a good colour on anyone - young or old. Above are some great rose gold pieces that look spectacular against any skin colour. A  timeless trend.

One of my favourite colours. A beautiful jewel tone sapphire hue that is rich, bold, and glamorous. 

I am obsessed with...Chevron!

An interesting pattern... It adds pizazz, texture, and fancies up any room depending on how you use it. Chevron is also a great pattern to use not just on fabrics, but on floor tiles and even on table settings. It's also eye-pleasing. Trendy, but if used right, it can be a timeless addition to any room.
