The holidays are my favourite time of year and since I love any excuse to dress up, I thought I'd put together a mini style series to showcase the kind of outfits I'd wear if I were to attend a lot of Christmas/New Year parties lol. I'm always cooking up outfits in my head anyways so why not! It's also intended to give a general idea to those who aren't sure what to wear :)

So.... Let me start off this post by saying that it is about watches indeed...but I have to admit that my obsession with wristwatches is getting to be too much. I can't recall when or what exactly spurred my obsession. I can remember that it started early this year though.

Let me walk you through my wildcrazyridictoofargone obsesh with watches chronicles:

• So it began with me wanting the perfect dress watch with a stainless steel chain link bracelet. I hunted and hunted and while walking through Sears one day, I spotted a REAL nice Pulsar watch which eventually went on sale. When I found out news of said sale, I recognized the calling in disguise and immediately snapped it up. And let me tell you, it looks good on my wrist. 
• Then the oversized watch trend made itself aware to me.....which dimmed the excitement of my new dress watch a bit as I cooed at the new pretties. Numerous blog posts written on it later and many bookmarked for my wishlist, I'm still hooked on the trend and I wanted one of my own but couldn't decide on which. It had to be THE ONE. I still don't have one ...
• Having just read this blog post on warm, traditional watches, I went window shopping online YET AGAIN for the millionth time..and now it's official: I need an oversized watch with a gold rimmed case, a warm honey brown leather strap (wide, but not too wide and with no print), and preferably a white (or really light gold) dial. I also prefer a chronograph watch. Hence the options above. I would really like a nice one for fall and winter!!! 

For now I'll stick to borrowing one of my mom's many watches....like this or this. lol

Fashion Inspiration I

I'm always browsing fashion blogs and fashion/design-related sites so it makes sense that when I come across some really nice styles that inspire me to dress a certain way or try something new with my attire, I save those images. I usually put all the nice, pretty images I find on my Tumblr, but for those really nice fashion photos that I want to look at later, I save them on my computer. I have a whole folder on just fashion-related images I've collected for a long time now, so I thought I'd just post some here IN CASE Y'ALL WANNA LOOKSEE TOO.


There are always a lot of stylish and trendy dressers out there but very few actually influence me. I'm sure there's more out there I just haven't seen yet, so I'll be patient and wait!

Whenever you walk into a home, the first thing that catches your eye is the design impact. I personally love interior design as well as style and decor of a room. I am a Pisces therefore I tend to migrate towards soft, pretty, dreamy, romantic and glamorous styles, lol, although not always! The more glam it is, the more I'll like it. AESTHETIC IS EVERYTHING. Well, not everything, because a room has to be functional too. But the first thing you do is LOOK when you walk into a room. Gotta liven up the space because an unadorned room can be bland and inspire no feeling whatsoever. A room is a space you'll eventually spend a lot of time in so it best look good! Some designers know how to pack a punch within a single glance.

Personal Purchase: New Earrings!

Picked these up at Walmart today. Found it in a jewellery clearance basket for $3! Good find I say. I want more dangly and chandelier earrings. I miss wearing them.

It also reminds me of a stalk of bananas. lol
